Seeing Players dont work

After about 4 blocks away from a player I can see them before they getinvisible.They also dissappear if I walk too far away.
i think that somthing got mixed up in the code, so that i am an NPC und when i get to close, players disapear.
Also i turned that feature off, but it still happens.

Hey press ctrl+K and search for "hide far entities in lobby". If you disable this setting it should be fixed!
