This happens to me on both EU and on NA. Since the server host changed this has never not happened, if I recall right. It's way less noticeable on EU though because my ping is very low on there. Because of this lag, It's very annoying to fight on NA. It's like hits pile up, and then register all at once.
I have ~110 ms to NA badlion, same thing (pretty much) goes for NA Kohi / NA ocn / NA Mineplex etc. These occurrences only happen on Badlion though. I know you can't do much with this information, but I don't know how to help you any further. I always have the feeling like something in the server infrastructure is severely fucked up, that makes these weird KB/hit piles possible.
There is also a second kind of lag (only felt it on EU, don't know if this happens on NA), which happens every ~40 seconds or so. The server just completely freezes for a few seconds, then unfreezes. Everyone teleports, and no hits register

I personally do not think this is the host's fault. It's either because so many players are on, too many people talking in chat, or it's too many hits being registered at once. Because I get less lag on NA2 which is less popular than NA1 and they both have the same datacenters/hosts. If you're ping is at 90, you shouldn't be getting that severe lag, it has to do with too many people on, or many hits getting registered at onceThis is just my opinion on things

Same problem with me i used to have a avrg ping of 3-13, but since the hosts changed my ping was avrg 5-20 but thats still really low but i still have the same problem like xkaos …. :/ i really love badlion i just hope you guys can fix it soon :) i know it takes time so i understandPosted on 03 April 2015 - 02:57 PM
Hmm I don't do Kohi ladder and stuff so i dont know what "pot lag is" or if that is even what you are getting. But right now I am not getting any lag at all after the host switch.Posted on 03 April 2015 - 03:10 PM

this has been happening to lots of people, and people all over badlion are complaining i really think this need to be fixed. I am Canadian, and my ping is too. But ive been getting lag both before and after we switched hosts, and im guessing most people here are American so its an International problem.Posted on 06 April 2015 - 11:20 PM
This is an issue affecting the midwest at the moment. In terms of actual lag according to players here it has been resolved https://www.badlion.net/forum/thread/36777We are getting to the point where I'm going to start calling people shit and that they need to practice more and stop blaming the server.
Still looking into the routing stuff with the midwest though.

I was just about to report this, you hit almost every point. There is also ghosting going on. I got ghost killed 4-5 times while my internet has not been tweaked or anything. (If you must know my internet is always 9 down 1 up.) This is also happening to a lot of my friends too, so its not just me.
