You just spent a few minutes looking for a skin and you can't even admire it. Especially in skyblock where you get blocks as helmets, and you can't even see your chosen skin right. There is a mod I found online that is able to achieve this such as the "Hide Armour" mod where it's a lightweight client-side mod that hides your own armor and is fully customizable on what armor piece you want "Hidden".

For instance:
In the "Hide Armour" mod I found on modrinth for forge I am able to "Hide" my armor pieces on the client side making it basically harmless for others

Here is another image of the mod in action where I use a texture pack that makes the UI transparent.


And although the configuration of the visible armor pieces in this mod is only editable through a CFG file instead of a custom UI inside the game itself. 9 out of 10 times, If you want to hide your armor pieces you want to hide the whole thing.
