Minecraft Not Launching on Badlion Client
Posted on 10 May 2025 - 10:55 AM
I’ve reinstalled BLC using the official uninstaller, added it to antivirus exceptions, and made sure the OS is fully updated. Despite all this, Minecraft fails to launch and just hangs indefinitely with no crash messages. There might be logs available, though.Has anyone encountered a similar issue or have suggestions for a solution?

by the way, the issue started immediately after updating to Windows 11, 24H2. I’ve also removed the non-functional versions within the BLClient folder and rebooted, but it still doesn’t work. There’s no indication of any blocked connections in the logs either.
Anyone else experiencing this after the update? Appreciate any suggestions!

exact same issue here, although for me it started after the latest stable update of 24h2. it worked fine on older builds of 24h2.it downloads everything just fine and shows "running". quitting through the button just leads back to "running". processes are running but without any activity or power usage. logs show nothing remarkable to my eye, but a lot of "debug" lines are encoded so i could be missing something. this happens with all versions of minecraft launched by badlion client.
the official minecraft launcher works just fine.
ive completely uninstalled and purged badlion client files (which ive found) from my system, even ones neglected by the uninstaller. it happens with both the new and legacy garbage collector. ive found the badlion client installer crashes when launched from any volume other than C:, not sure if related. running either the installer or launcher as administrator made no difference.

update: this stems from the latest windows updates causing further issues with BBR2. it seems components of badlion client use electron or something similar, and that's why this occurs. switching back to cubic remedies all symptomsPosted on 14 June 2025 - 06:00 AM
could you please describe in detail what needs to be done
