So hosts have told me to record if i see a hacker/ fighting a hackerhttps://www.badlion.net/forum/thread/37050
kinda like this right?
what's the point if he's not going to be banned from said report anyways?
how are we supposed to get 3rd person evidence in situations like these?
it's clear that he was hacking yet report was denied simply cause it was in first person?

Clear evidance of killaura @MaccaTacca watch videos twice please…Posted on 07 April 2015 - 06:00 PM
I would say MaccaTacca is correct in denying the report. Looks like 95% kill aura to me, but there's a chance that it's not. The staff team doesn't like having a chance of an innocent player banned. Unfortunately I don't have them anymore, but I've recorded first person evidence in the past of client de-syncing where it looks like straight out next dimension hacks, I was going to make a thread on it about first person evidence, but I had to re-install windows without backing anything up. So yes I agree he looks to be hacking, but I also think it's not enough. I think Macca as a senior mod knows his job quite well and doesn't need to be told how to do it by a player. If you think he's not living up to his role as a staff member you know where to report him.Posted on 07 April 2015 - 09:10 PM
We don't accept first person evidence, you should know this NotR3ddy since you were once a staff memeber…And the reasons why we don't accept first person evidence is the facts Burnt stated.I understand the video looks fishy and he might've been hacking but I'm not making any exceptions. Give us 3rd person videos or it'll be denied.

So would this be enough evidence to warrant a ban? @frogmike
@MaccaTacca yea I know but there were exceptions and this is honestly pretty blatant

also @MaccaTacca you could've at least went into detail why the report was denied instead of just saying denied? I can understand in ban appeals just saying denied, but in this case a player went out of their way to try and record a cheater, and all they see is "denied".not very encouraging for the player

13 Seconds of video is pretty hard to tell if someone is hacking or not.MasterGBerry wrote
Keep in mind, there IS a thing called Latency, which is why we usually don't accept first person evidence, plus you only have one fight thats 13 seconds long, can't really tell. I can see hes strafing back and fourth but there could have been latency involved and you only recorded proof of him doing it once in first person.
Since macca knows more about UHC then me, wait for him to elaborate.

My evidance was like 5-6 seconds fight and it got accepted, both of the evidances was in a uhc game, why my report get accepted and the other isn't, when the other one tbh is much more obvious than mine…
