I just got muted for 15 minutes because I said "lag" in chat although I was not talking about the server lagging I was simply telling another player why I got really good reach on him. I said "being AU makes me lag a bit which is sometimes helpful in PvP" and I was muted for 15 minutes? I dont really care about being muted because it's only for 15 minutes but would it be possible to only put the auto mute filter on when people are actually spamming LAG?
