Fishing rods:Remove from all kits except MCSG (and possibly UHC) or keep them as is
Looking for at least 60% before I'll considering a change, prefer 66+% (2:1)

Development Vote:
Vote on what you prefer the Development team to work on next (Smelly + Pika are still working on factions, which is why no faction options are included in the vote)

I'd agree on any choice. I don't go against or with people. No offense.Posted on 20 April 2015 - 08:57 PM

That's why it's a vote for something the dev team should work on and not just "add 1000 slot servers and done." I believe the idea is to develop a system better suited for 1000 players, including servers/plugins that can handle 1000 players without lag, map sizes/border shrinking done appropriately, and ease of dealing with heals/tp's/etc so hosts aren't bombarded with stupidity. People won't stop complaining as they always do, but 1000 man UHC's will never happen if we just shove the idea aside for that reason alone.
Besides, it doesn't necessarily mean the 300 player UHC's will disappear entirely. I'm sure players who don't want the challenge of 1000 man UHC's will still have options.

The amount of people that voted keeping rods. -_-Posted on 21 April 2015 - 12:09 AM
I voted to keep the fishing rod, even though can't use it for the life of me. I've never actually gone against someone who used a fishing rod in a pot ladder, although if someone is able to use it effectively with speed 2 and pots flying everywhere, then props to them. For development, I voted for UHC statistics (I think that would make it even more popular, since as you know, stats make people that much more competitive, which is great for server popularity). I also voted for new PotPvP ladders, but that's just sorta a general thing that is cool to see, 1 or 2 new ladders every time you have a new PotPvP season. I also think the tournament plugin would be cool for increased competition, and probably not too difficult to automate.
Lastly, for lack of an other category, I would like to suggest something. I think you guys should do an IronWolf-esque Meetup PvP gamemode. It was immensely popular when it was run on a small, unadvertised server made for /r/uhc regualars, and I think with the popularity of your current UHC games, it would be a great addition. It is sort of like a mix between quick small fights on Potion and the long multi-hour games of UHC.
Anyways, thanks for all the updates, I have really been enjoying factions since it came out! :)

Running gives you the same advantage that camping does in that you are running out players buffs. The community pushes those types of maps because they would rather fight in an arena where aim, sprint resets, and combos matter more than whoever can keep a person in a 1 block high corner. Also, people still rod and run on tight maps just like they do on open maps, so don't use that as an excuse. This is not something that needs to be a clusterfuck, it is just as easy to catch as camping. We may have the same access to these items, but even if I carry a fishing rod or a bow, people can still kite to the same effect. They just have to hide behind a block, or pearl away to avoid my bow (yes, many people who play like this carry multiple stacks of pearls)
Archy, more people in the community want this style of play out rather than in the ladder. I have NEVER seen somebody play in Kohi like they do in this ladder. It's broken in my opinion and in many other people's opinions.

The rod is so they can fish and get food. I've never seen somebody use it in pvp like they do on Badlion. Running is broken in that it is a poor example of skill. It is just whoever has the most patience.
Just stop ignoring your community and actually listen to them. There is a much higher percentage of people who don't want this in the ladder than who do, and the day you get that is the day you remove the rod from the ladder.

Oh for fucks sake with the quitting bullshit. Either do it or just stfu, no one cares that you're "considering" quitting because of a rule you don't like.
