So, today I thought of something that could be implemented into GCheat. So basically this is how it works. Right when the console is about to ban someone for hacking, an message that they can't close pops up, asking if they were hacking. If they answer yes, and are honest, they get one last chance. and next time logs are set off they are banned. If they answer no, and lie, they are banned! This would reduce the amount of hackers lying in ban appeals and so on!Tell me what you think!

This would actually be a better substitute than ban appeals, but if they are hacking they deserve SOME punishment, which is why a lot of appeals get denied because they need to reappeal in some SET time.Posted on 21 April 2015 - 06:02 AM
Yeah, if they're cheating, they have to be punished. There's a minimum ban length of at least a month for hacking in most cases (assuming the person appeals), and using your system, that waiting period is gone. This is in effect because cheaters have more time to think over their actions, and because it's a bit silly to let someone off with a subtle warning. The appeal system has another advantage — it sets apart people who care about their ban from the people who don't.

Also people who see this message on the forum right now could just hack until they get a warning which would make it safer to hack.Posted on 21 April 2015 - 07:06 AM
Your concept has a flaw, because only people who are about to get banned will get that message according to your idea. :P Also, they deserved to be punished for cheating. Better to punish them now so they can learn and become more mature rather than learning it in a much more difficult situation in life.Posted on 21 April 2015 - 09:25 PM
-1 hell no, if they're cheating, they get bannedPosted on 22 April 2015 - 03:16 AM
@SmellyPenguin @MasterGberryWhat about this: if they say yes, they get a 4 week ban for admitting. If they say no, it is as usual. +1 easier appeals

Or they just pay the full month and don't hack again as its common sense not to hack in the first place.Posted on 22 April 2015 - 03:34 AM
No, because, as noted by Smelly, they'll find out about the ban thing being associated with them cheatingIt really isn't a good idea
