Guys, Please make 1st person evidence ban-able again. It's easier to record and it's just better to know you can record in that match. Also it's more valuable than 3rd person. Ik you can't see that much compared to 3rd person but it's still noticeable. Please, Please, Please I Beg you to make this ban-able. Make it so donator hackers need to be recorded 3rd person but non donators can just be recorded.Posted on 08 April 2014 - 08:30 PM
With 3rd person evidence you guys are only looking for head flips. With 1st person evidence you can get a lot more recorded. For example today while I was fighting a hacker he had auto regear, you can hear the noise in the video, if you were watching 3rd person you would never even notice. I definitely think 1st person evidence should be allowed, but just let people know that third person is preferred. Because there's A LOT you can get in 1st person.Posted on 08 April 2014 - 09:57 PM
And a lot can be "faked" in first person too.Recording person lagging, boom now it looks like the opponent is cheating when you are lagging. It looks like he has super reach when in reality it's just lag on your end. Now he's banned because you're lagging. If the recorder (first person) is lagging in any way it makes the other person look like he's cheating. This is the main reason we don't accept MOST first person videos anymore. We had several first person videos serve as ban evidence, then a third person video came out and was like "wow, there is no way that banned player was cheating at all"
Having third person creates a focal point. Only one person lagging, you can tell that from third person. Both people lagging, now either it's the server or the recorder. Head twitching, now we can make educated guesses on why his head is twitching other then just banning him. Auto regear… in what?
We still accept some first person videos, but it needs to be very blatant like fly. There is no debate to be had, most first person videos will be straight up denied if it's not very conclusive to a ban, and the rest have to go through me to rule out all lag cases.

The auto regear thing was in FFA, long story short the guy was banned for FF. However, at the time he was experimenting with his hacks and I was just smacking the hell outta this guy and I kept hearing his armor break but he automatically had new gear on.Posted on 09 April 2014 - 12:22 AM
Archy I just recorded click-aimot cases. How is that lag is the kids head is locking onto you.Posted on 09 April 2014 - 02:58 AM
I agree with some first person evidence, like maybe crit hacks because it's truly one of the only ways to tell if someone's using crit hacks, but that's itPosted on 09 April 2014 - 08:18 AM
