Custom Brackets plugin?

I know this might be a bit far-fetched but this just an idea.I think there could be another addition to the current types of events (lms and slaughter I am talking about).
My idea is that there would be a custom brackets plugin. It would need to be hosted/started my a staff member of course like the other games.
Just like lms or slaughter, anyone on the server could simply /join brackets and the player would be qued up until the game starts.
When it starts each person playing would be tpd to an arena to 1v1 someone and battle it out with what ever kit chosen by the host. The winner would move on to the next round and so on until someone wins the brackets.
This is just an idea I know it can be difficult to make plugins although please consider this.
