Hey guys, this thread is mostly directed towards archy and mastergberry but I suggest people's opinions. Now this is going to be a controversial subject, and I'm sure everyone will have their thoughts on how to deal with the matter.My agreement I am proposing is, after noticing a large increase of campers, if I can get an alt to 2000 elo by camping players buffs and and using KB, you will make it banable. Now again, I've already seen people start to do it like verilyx, and honestly it is cancer. If I can prove to you how unfair and easy it is, and how much of a problem it is in ranked matches, will you agree to put in the rules it is against badlion law to camp out a players buffs?
Now if this does become banable, I am asking you how we could help limit it. I know it is the biggest problem in vanilla, so possibly setting a limit to the amount of buffs a player can bring would help solve this issue. Let me know what you think and I hope you'll accept my challenge!

Didn't start taking ranked matches seriously until recently. Had someone wait out my buffs today and it never even occurred to me what they were doing, I thought it was just some noob. Recorded it just to laugh, then started talking in chat about how stupid it was, then at that moment when I had no buffs I got my ass handed to me and found out the guy had an elo of 1900. This is why I like FFA, there's no number to judge your skill off of. In ranked matches people will do anything and everything to get a good looking number next to their name. Honestly I don't even see the point of you having to get an alt to 2000 ELO this way, I think recent players have already proven your point. As for making it bannable and such, idk what should be done, but what I do know is it's an absolute faggatron(that a word?) thing to do.But yeah stuff like this is bullshit:

I agree, this is REALLY stupid. However, if the other person is camping, why dont you go camp somewhere else where they can't hit you and1. Wait for the time limit to come

Everyone I see complaining about this doesn't carry a bow.Not my fault for them outplaying you in the circumstance. If you had a bow and they did this you would literally shred their armor so fast you could 2 shot them with a sword.

Yeah, if there was a 15 second timer before ranked matches like there is with unranked I'd just switch out kits real fast if I saw Verilyx or DeepTaint or what not, but I'd just rather keep my normal kit and if I end up with a camper then oh well :S

I am going to be honest here and I don't want to offend anyoneMost of the Admins I see here that say "carry a bow on you" don't know it is just as simple as that
When you carry a bow, you take 2 splashes out, when when fighting a normal fight (most of the fights) those 2 splashes can cost you the game. Many do not want to carry a bow because they are honestly near useless unless there is a camper, or your asianapple
For a Admin, or Developer, that doesn't play ranked, doesn't know how annoying that 1/30 players that camp. You can't just bring a bow for the reasons stated above.
If you only knew how annoying campers are, you would want it removed to. Smelly, you say how it is how minecraft pvp evolved, this is only in vanilla ranked, and you should go do some ranked and see what campers are like
p.s. viprite only brings a bow because he is strange, and he knows how irritating campers are :P

You realize that our server used to be a bow spam server with this tactic 6 months ago. Everyone started carrying a bow, and this phase died out. Now that no one carries a bow anymore, it's started back up. I won't interfere with the meta of our server, and I've never lost to this tactic before, so ok.
