So do none of the staff care about hackers at night?I've been playing Iron for about an hour since I died in one of the uhcs, and since then, I've fought about 4 different hackers that have drained me elo?
At night time the staff do nothing about reports? Is that what's going on?
It's not toggling, or anything that's hard to see.
It's COMPLETE kill aura. Kill someone once? Oh they'll come back and hit you from 6 blocks away until you're dead.
Can you get better night staff or tell your night staff to do something about the hackers?
Actually, may not even be hackers. So far there have been 3 staff online and not a single person was banned, and only one person was muted.
Funny thing is, I've seen about 10 filter bypasses and people talking eachother down after fights.
Really?
Can someone do something about it?

The Badlion staff are people too.It's a hard job being a mod and taking alot of reports daily.
They need to get sleep too. There is always alot of staff on, and I promise, they are doing something about this.

We are not robots; we cannot stay up all night to moderate. We have staff members from around the globe that are able to moderate at a variety of times. However, a vast majority of our staff live in either the US/Canada/Mexico or western Europe, leaving a small window of time where there are not many staff members able to come online.Posted on 03 May 2015 - 02:56 PM
Before you make a post like this, think about it. Mods are people too. Just like during the day, we play games as well. Mods get sleepy as well because they are people. We aren't much different from you except we have more permissions and a different tag. Maybe the staff has already attended to your report and determined that that person isn't hacking. Just because someone is better than you doesn't mean they are hacking. And if you really think they're hacking, we have a reports section on the forums for a reason, use it instead of saying the mods don't do anything. Because the truth is, we do do things. We do other things related to our job than just sitting around waiting for you to report someone. We handle appeals all the time, we handle web reports, teamspeak assistance etc. Remember, too, that there are many many other reports coming in, not just yours.Posted on 04 May 2015 - 05:44 PM

Aight so when I say it's complete kill aura I do record, as shown on other of my reports: https://www.badlion.net/profile/user/Verillium/threads has all my reports, but you do and the staff tell you that they aren't hacking or your evidence isn't good enough? And, I have videos of people straight hacking that I can't upload because they're "first person" and that's unaccceptable (which is still perfectly fine since 90% of the time, they're hacking regardless) and the staff do nothing there either. Staff are people, but I'm a person too and I can understand that if I'm given the responsibility of watching over the server, especially at night when there can be far less players, I should be doing it. This is being honestThese days 95% of hacker bans are Gcheat, and a very small fraction Is mod bans.
Gcheat kinda gives a free break which is good, but mods gotta step up

@VerilliumIf you're trying to formulate a solution to the problem at hand, I suggest you reconsider how you approach the problem. Try to be less improvident before you post. Think about what you're about to post.
First of all, you immediately attacked the staff. You accused the staff team of being carefree. You didn't post proposing a solution, you slandered members of the staff.
I acknowledge that our staff aren't all that active at night. Most of our PotPvP moderators are from the U.S. However, that does mean they have no concerns for Badlion.
What can we do to mend the fence?

I'm not quite sure what you mean about 'night staff.' Unfortunately, it's difficult to construct a strict schedule in which there's a staff member on at all times. Try to remember, the staff are volunteers. IF a staff member was online, they wouldn't ignore blatant cheating. If they acknowledged that a player was cheating, they would take action.
So how do you propose we do this?
We're always recruiting new staff.
We recruit staff of all origins. We have staff ranging from North America, to Africa and then to Asia.
So, again, what do you propose?
