seriously looking for response of ANYONE that could actually helpgberry/archy please message me on the forums if you can help me so we can get on teamviewer.
basically, recently my computer was intruded by atl east 15 viruses which I think to have deleted but now I had to uninstall chrome and reinstall because the viruses made it so I couldn't even open it (it is my main browser) and now my page is literally filled with ads and I have adblock but it's NOT working at all.

Go to control panel. Unistall programs. Click the newest date tab. See if it's therePosted on 04 May 2015 - 01:01 AM
Yes that's how I removed the 15 other viruses, but right now the only actual problem I'm having is my ad block not working?I tried switching to firefox but it's still not working. :(

If you restart your computer do any of the programs show back up in control panel?Posted on 04 May 2015 - 01:44 AM
No, the adblock thing is still happening, however, I am actually able to listen to my music and my computer isn't so laggy, I had assumed it was the ads.Anyone have a cure for this adblock thing over?
Using ABP

Says that it is blocking the advertisements, but it's really not!http://gyazo.com/c3310405a63ecd64084a67e6143ccc15

that's not an ad block issue bAdlion doesn't have ads regardless. I was hoping you had a name I could use. From personal experience I would download Malwarebytes and run a full scan then Unistall it.Posted on 04 May 2015 - 01:55 AM
Try combofix + malwarebytes, you're better off googling than asking for help on here.Posted on 04 May 2015 - 02:18 AM
Used both, still happening, I think I'm just gonna go WITH ads, it seems like these by "CloudScout" are the only ones that are popping up so it should be fine. Thanks for the help, badlion.

If you don't have anything important on your computer you can always reset it.Posted on 04 May 2015 - 02:43 AM

I had something like this happen to me. Whatever program I had it automatically gave me chrome extensions that gave me random ads. If you type chrome://extensions/ into the url bar and take a look you could find some extensions that shouldn't be there.
