This thread is mainly aimed at maps like Ice Temple, where you have incredible height advantages. As soon as you have the height advantage, you have a pretty good chance of winning. This is due to the knockback causing huge amounts of fall damage making the fights unfair.Posted on 16 April 2014 - 05:02 AM
Only two maps I hate is the emerald cave one and the small one with the wood logs in the middle, but each map has it's own purpose. So -1 for removing maps.Posted on 16 April 2014 - 05:18 AM

+1 to your -1, but in all seriousness, badlion is a practice kit server originally created to simulate pvp scenarios. All those cancerous rounds on emerald mine and other close quarter combat maps have trained me to work better in different environments, including caves and ravines. They may hurt your elo at the start, but soon they'll just be like any other map, paying off in the long run.

The thing is, I'd rather practice knocking someone off of a high place on one of the other maps that have the advantage, just that one has a ridiculous drop and is a 'race to the top' kind of map. There are just some maps that aren't practical for using different pvp skills.
Another great example is wool forst. So much cramped area and not enough room for different tactics. People can stand under a tree, spam space, get crits and do no other tactics like them for it.

Great point, +1 to you, sir!
