Player Elo
Okay, so you know how when you hit tab your elo's come up on the left side. I don't know if this has been thought if before but I know everyone wants to do /stats (player) which I think they should add. But this would be that when you join a game, and you hit tab your elo comes up on the left side and your opponents comes up on the right side. This way if they are 1420 in MCSG but 1880 in gapple, you will know that they are a good player.

Thanks~

You can just go on their profile :)
Edit: Their Elo shows before the match xD

I would prefer anomity as it forces you to try harder as you don't know that, not just farm. Anyways It tells you in the chat before like..

I don't think people are quite understanding what he means. Yes it does say your opponent's elo in chat…for that one ladder you're playing in. He wants to be able to see your opponents elo for every ladder so that you can see how good of an overall player your opponent is. I think he's trying to avoid the scenario of facing someone who hasn't played a match in Diamond but has an 1880 in Gapple. You see the 1400 elo and don't really think too much of the fight until you get destroyed, look on their profile and realize, oh shit this guy's actually really good with a sword.

As for how it was implemented, I think he was thinking something along the lines of this: http://gyazo.com/87c7355c5c1e1a109ba8dafc0b5421d6. It shows both your elo and your opponent's elo, and it also gets rid of a lot of empty space on the right side of the tab menu.

I personally don't think it'd be that useful. I feel like implementing it would take a bunch of coding that wouldn't necessarily be that useful in the long run. I think a /stats (player) command would be a lot more useful, but that's besides the point. I just wanted to clarify for people who probably weren't understanding correctly…as long as I'm actually understanding correctly

This seems like it's a huge amount of fannying on to display a bit of useless information. If I fight a Vanilla player, do I care what he has in mcsg?
My opinion :)

You should try in all matches instead tryharding high elo players.
Anyway, didnt know that knowing the elo of the other player in other ladders improved your skill..
