N/A Host.
Hey,
so there was that thing where it would show games where they are planed to be if there is or isn't a host.
now, we get to see this:
Its pretty annonying to see that… and sometimes if hosts decide to host at that time but they decided too late not alot of players will join (@Hairybot).

Basicly, show us (the players) games with N/A Hosts.

It's probably meant for AU people, although I don't know why it's on NA 2.

As for the EU game, at that time, EU people are at sleep, but then again, probably meant for NA people

His picture is showing the times for the game in his timezone (im assuming he is EU) so EU games are hosting that time and the NA game if meant for NA players not AU as it is a normal time.

@Ivorex

U can tell that he isnt NA because it says the pic was taken at 1 something on may 8th and it isnt even 1 on may 8th anywhere in NA.

I do not fully understand what your getting at but Ill try to explain how we post games on the website.

It is the hosts responsibility to change that to their name. If the game does not have a host, it will not show on the normal players screen. Hosts have up to 30 mins before the game is scheduled. At that time if there is not a game online, that game will be cancelled. I suggest you to check around 30 mins before the game starts to double check.

We made this change so we dont have to juggle games that that do not have a host.

In my opinion, there should be certain games hosted at all times for EU players, and hosts should Register there name for that game, this goes well with the minimum amount of games that should be hosted, which I think should be atleast 2/3 a week, instead of the 2 per 2 weeks that is going on now. I say this all, because I feel like there is either a lack of EU games, or there are EU games added half an hour before it starts, which will cause people to miss out on games, as Ofir_ said.

Basically what I am saying, and what Ofir said:

There should be standard game times, say 2pm 4pm 6pm 8pm 10pm and if there is NOT a host for it, put N/A behind it, meaning that there is a chance of that game not happening, also, hosts should REGISTER their names for the certain game they want to host, which goes well with my 5 times per 2 week UHC hosting idea.

Sincerely,

xSchmise (xStackedMonkey)

I'd rather not create false expectations. The upcoming matches tabs show the matches that will certainly be hosted.

One thing that our UHC prides itself on is that it isn't automated and that there is a host that isn't playing, but rather is there just to help the community, and catch cheaters. Sure- we really could setup automated UHC games where they'll just play in a loop, but see how well that worked out on other servers. There's a bombardment of people who cheat, who are confused about aspects of UHC, and who need assistance throughout the game, hence making the playing experience less enjoyable. Ultimately, we still try to hire more and more people and train them to an extent where I can trust them guiding 250-400> players. Yet most applications don't meet the rigoureus demands that I expect that the UHC hosts should have.
