Ok, so I don't know if this is something I may have written in chat or it is a bug but I got kicked out of server few times because of "disconnect.spam". Can someone tell me is something broken with that or ?Posted on 14 May 2015 - 08:33 PM
This is a Spigot bug. Not a server bug (I think!)Posted on 14 May 2015 - 09:19 PM
@riioo It's like bukkit but better. It like runs the server kindaPosted on 14 May 2015 - 09:21 PM
uhmmm…@13thedude not really.Possible reasons why everyone (including me) loves it:
-antispam
-performance optimizations
-active devs
-BUNGEEEEECORD SUPPORTTTT
In no way does it run the server…it is just reg Bukkit with the above edits ^^ (also server spawn rates and stuff are configurable easily)

@Ytt It kind of does, without it you cannot even have pluginsPosted on 14 May 2015 - 09:46 PM
@13thedude it runs the bukkit api…bukkit created the api that you can run plugins on…in that they are identicalPosted on 14 May 2015 - 09:48 PM
However, answering the question, it is impossible to get around unless you manually edit the spigot api and take out the antispam (which includes commands as well!)You likely spam clicked something a ton or seriously spammed to get the boot..

This is when you keep pressing tab loads, basic spigot mechanisms.

It's to prevent people from ddos'ing the server with stupid packet data like tab packets.Posted on 15 May 2015 - 12:15 AM
@Aymbaut I get that too. That's when you type in a name and spam tab (for me, I do it to see if I'm lagging) it DC's you
