Is there an easy way to make it where when you /ignore someone that person can not tab your name. And by this I mean when you're typing in minecraft and type "Bur" then tab it automatically changes it to "BurntCactus". So the person I have ignored if they type "bur" then tab it doesn't show anything making them think I'm offline. I don't know if anyone else has this problem, and it may seem stupid, but there's a couple kids who have stalked me from server to server who seriously just spend their weekend trolling me, If I'm in pot pvp and I go to soup they follow, when they know I'm online they'll just do their best to bother me even when I can't even see their chat. It's nothing I could report them for because without me seeing chat all they can do is jump up and down on me at spawn and follow me as I leave and have the kid mafia target nobody but me in FFA. So basically is making it where someone you ignore can't tab your name possible, and if it is possible is it an effortless addition? If it takes more then 5 minutes it's not even worth looking into since the people with this problem are limited to small numbers if not just me.Posted on 19 April 2014 - 10:22 AM
Who are these people? I can easily tell the to stop pestering you. And no i think /ignore's fine.Posted on 19 April 2014 - 06:43 PM
This is directed at us. We left potion because there were like 3-4 hackers in the ffa and went to soups. We went to soups because we used to play a lot of soup servers and you happened to be there. We don't even bother you at spawn, like jumping in front of you over and over again. I've been playing this server way before you even came here (I wasn't very active back then though). As for targeting you in the ffa, that's complete bs. I don't target anyone in ffa except for the kids who rage when you kill them or call everyone bad. I think it's funny how you say we target you, but it's the complete opposite way around. I would go out to a large group of people fighting, and then you would come in going just for me. I even asked you once, "Do you target me because you hate me?" and you said something along the lines of, "You could say that." Also what about your brother, who is always spectating me? Countless times where I've seen him following me around in spectator mode pre-invis spectators at ffa and also after. 90% of the time if i spectate him it teleports me to a location near where i was, with him spectating me. I usually do this to see if he's stalking me and then I lol. But yea, you google peoples minecraft names to look for information about them…Posted on 19 April 2014 - 06:51 PM

I'll respond here for gberry, as usual.MasterGberry: "if we made it so people couldn't tab eachothers names then nothing stops a hacker from hacking it up and not being caught, because mods can no longer tab their name. And if you suggest that mods can and players can't, then a hacker would just /ignore their opponents they face, making it so players can't really /spectate them, making staffs job harder, and rendering ban reports near useless. All and over, it's counter productive, and would be time consuming when I could be working on more important things for the server"
Might not be on spot with that response, but I'm guessing that's along the lines of what he's say
