Hi, I am Obligate. Many of you may not know me, because I am an alt of a better known player.Time to cut to the point.
I recently thought about it, and realized how badly KB has ruined the vanilla ladder in the past few seasons. I decided to put this to the ultimate test. I modified my kit to have 4 rounds of buffs, slowness, and added a KB2 sword.
Now what did I do with this setup, one may ask?
I basically ran around the map with a KB2, and turned on the player, landed a combo on them with KB2 that made them go flying, rendering me untouchable when I did so. They would eventually run out of buffs with this tactic (the combos with the KB2 when I turned also fucked their dura) then I would turn around and jump them, killing them easily. Since I started this strat on this account, I had only lost 2-3 times with it, which was due to pot failure. The strategy is nearly unbeatable. Also, might I add, KB2 heavily encourages camping, which I had found myself unintentionally doing for many fights. I also noticed another player, gotiane, has gotten 2300s from using the scummy KB tactic, except he did not take it to the extreme as I had.
What is the purpose of this post, and why would you, the vanilla player, or the staff team care?
This technique takes all skill out of the ladder, I was able to just sit back and enjoy myself with my friends as I just effortlessly found myself reaching a 2004 ELO, without even trying one bit at all, it took literally not skill to do. I hope that the owners will finally realize how badly KB and punch 2 bows fuck vanilla up, and I hope that they will consider a change. Many may say "its vanilla". This is not vanilla, as if it were, there would be golden and god apples. Please modify and save this ladder from utter destruction.

I fought u today and I was so mad it was unbeatable. U literally just ran and kb 2'd me until i had nothing left. I had no chance at all and it felt terrible.+1

Key words "They would eventually run out of buffs with this tactic". What you're doing is fucking banable and you just admitted to it. It's literally the same thing as camping. The reason no one is killing you is because people don't give enough shits. I've said this before and I'll say it again; 1v1 matches are supposed to be short, so it's not that your "strategy" is too good, It's just that people don't have the patience or the time to chase you around for 10 minutes trying their best to kill you. This thread is a joke and it's hilarious that you come to the forums acting like you've discovered a revolutionary new tactic. Kb has always been in the ladder, people have always had the opportunity to do this, they just haven't because it's a fucking douchy thing to do. We have Iron OCN, Diamond OCN, UHC, Gold OCN, Advanced UHC, MCSG and Archer. Every that I just mentioned require the bow, I dont understand why we can't have just three ladders without the fucking bow (vanilla, Kohi and no debuffs). You're gonna say bows are part of all those 3, no, they're not. Why would bows be part of potion ladders? Anyways, please remove the bows for vanilla, Kohi and no debuffs ladder in Season 9. Did I ever say it was a new tactic? No. It isn't, I am pointing out an issue that I has been a problem for the 2 years I've played here. The administration has done nothing about it, so I am pointing it out.

About the kb issue… I agree with this of removing kb, but just kb2. Another option is to add a rule that avoids running for this purpose. This way, we can fix vanilla problems, mcsg problems, iron/diamond/gold problems, etc.

Just to add on to this, I, MinemanPeeVeePee have tested this with my friend Obligate also. I currently have over 1900 elo. Hell, I have even beaten the top Vanilla player with this: https://www.badlion.net/match/kitpvp/6068359 . The funniest part about this, is that a mod was actually spectating this fight, along with a few butthurt players and he literally said that it was allowed. I didn't camp, I ran around the map running out his buffs (I am going to upload this). Not only is does this require no skill, but it also enrages every player, 5 players even told us to kill ourselves. Is this the way this ladder is supposed to be played? It's more like a source of toxicity. Fix this before the whole Community is banned for "Death Threats".~MinemanPeeVeePee

What you're doing with kb2 is the same thing the rod gypsies are doing. The issue has already been addressed by the staff team and it will be against the rules next season. All this thread did was encourage more people to kite until this season ends. I made camping a problem on bignosedjew and I started the debate which got it banned, you're just coming in at the end of the kiting issue and you're stirring up more trouble @brave @combo
