20$ Steve@MasterGberry this means we will have up to 500 player games…will you cap whitelists at a certain player count?

Will youtubers/famous people get this?Posted on 20 May 2015 - 07:44 PM
@de_fortunityHere's what I would logically assume:
Youtube stays with donator perms (they only need to get into games)
Twitch gets Lion permissions (they can spectate more for their viewers)
Famous ^^

Famous definitely will. Youtubers probably not.
@Archybot for final decision on this one.

We are always working ton increase the # of players in games. We will never cap the whitelist for UHC though. This is something we have offered to people to pay for, they are paying for the right to play on the server and it is their right to do so. Other people are not paying for the service so they will have second priority. There is nothing stating that they should have equal rights to someone who pays for a service than someone who doesn't.

"You can whitelist a friend to get on the PotPvP servers as well during peak time when they fill up and you want to play with your friend."I'm not sure this is a good donator perk for the following reason: even at peak times, with 750 players online you're bound to get in after a few seconds if you repeatedly try to join. With 750 people online, there is a lot of turnover. You can do whatever you want, that's just my suggestion ;)
@MasterGberry
EDIT: I think it's great that you're starting to increase player counts and agree with the rest of your reasoning ;))

Will youtubers be promoted to Donater+ then? :D

@de_fortunity again, logically no. you only need to get in UHCs and have unlimited matches, and do not need the other perks. you are free to upgrade to Donator+ for 20$ and still keep your Youtube rankPosted on 20 May 2015 - 08:06 PM

I think I heard only if they write a 500 word essay explaining why they deserve it. Will be graded by @Archybot

What is your logic here? Youtuber's are here to bring players to, why are they not allowed to spectate UHC's then? Same w/ Twitchers. We just have a smaller channel.
