I've seen plenty of people have a different nickname in the forums than actually ingame, because of minecraft name changes and everything.I'm going to try to explain myself a bit better, my nickname (while posting this thread ) will appear as MikeI, but I changed my IGN to DontWorryImBad, and I find it a bit annoying to have a different name on here.

EDIT : What I'm really asking for is the option to be able to change your nickname here on the forums, but once a month or so, so people don't change their nickname every 5 minutes.
