There's currently 53 players with ban permissions on the kit pvp server. I saw one online today. As the server grows this is becoming more and more of an issue. I watched a player advertise for 5 minutes today while a mod fought other players. He was too engrossed in his matches to even see what was going on in chat, to the point where the server had to chant his name to get his attention. In the end, the player was banned for inappropriate name, instead of advertising. That player can now change his name and appeal to get back onto this server. Come on guys, this shouldn't be happening….

I'm assuming you are on NA. If this was taken today, during school hours, it's self explanatory as to why there were little to no staff on.If this was not taken during school hours, then maybe Ginie could start looking for mods who do not have the bondage of school. Keep in mind that the mods have lives too. They study, go out with friends, and play sports just like everybody else.
Sure there are 48 senior moderators and kit pvp moderators, but Badlion has servers located around the world. Since there are five servers, (EU, Na1, Na2, AU, and Soup) I'll just divide that number by five. You are left with approximately 10 mods per server (9.6 exactly but fuck that). Considering that you were probably online during a weekday, before or after school, it does not surprise me at all that there was only one staff member online.
Finally, Squishay is allowed to play matches. I doubt that anybody could moderate the chat and play a ranked match at the same time, so the whole thing about the advert is just pointless. If it bothered you that much go make a report.
But yeah, I guess kit pvp could do with a few more active moderators for the weekdays.

Not meaning to burst your bubble, but then some mods might just play on that account and not moderate. It would create more inactivity.
Also some mods aren't fortunate enough to have >1 account. There is no easy fix to this, we just have to chip in.

Ok well if people were applying with the intention of helping the server then I think you should be just fine. Some people aren't fortunate enough to own more than one account, you're right; I guess they just can't apply. This would make it so whenever a mod is on his mod account, he was online to help, period.

You're right. The moderation team as a whole is understaffed and those who are staff are not active enough in general - myself included.I don't think it's fair of you to pick on Squishay for this one occasion or anything; as far as I've seen, he's one of the more active moderators. But overall you're very correct. Badlion may have been able to pull off moderating with 50 half-active staff before, but with 5 kit servers and 3000 players on at any one time, it won't work out.
