Ive noticed recently that Badlion has suddenly started to become a lot like Reddit, especially when Radical and some people like him host games they are annoyingly so similar. Now that the new 3.0 update has come to UHC and some people are suggesting that shooting healths should come up with yes would be nice but if you want that, you should go and play on Reddit.. This is badlion where we have our own community, I previously played reddit uhc and disliked them because of how they were similar every game, All im asking is that as staff, you dont Turn Badlion into reddit:) Thanks…-Fork

What's wrong with the way Reddit games are hosted…Literally every game mode you will ever play in a UHC was made up by some Redditor

Also Badlion is much more structured than Reddit. By far but only because it has to in order to cater for the large player count in the games

It's the same gamemode, of course it'll be similar. Hosts can host however they like. The reason a lot of the ideas come from reddit is because they are cool and make sense. Shooting health for example. We're not doing it because we want to become reddit. We might do it because it's a cool implementation that makes the game more fun.Posted on 23 May 2015 - 06:38 PM

Badlion will not and never will become like reddit because badlion does what it's player base wants, not features we can stack on to become like reddit. Shooting health is a cool feature and a big amount of the player base wants to see it rather than doing /h

Each server will always have their differences no matter how similar even if they tried to get.Since Reddit came first, it had lots of influence on the way Badlion UHC goes, but that doesn't mean they are the same.
Badlion UHC's have been influenced by the community we formed. And every community is different, and you can't say that the Badlion and Reddit community are the same, because they are very, very different.

What does it matter who does what? I think it's great that servers get ideas from others. Also, it's not like Badlion copies all the time. We still do our own thing and do our own twist. Also, I like that hosts like Radical host "different" type games then what most hosts do. It's good to mix it up. Trust me, if you only played the same exact UHC, with the same config, you'd get bored of it.
If you don't like the games that certain hosts do, then don't play them.

Badlion and Reddit do share some gamemodes, because they are cool gamemodes that add a slight twist to the turnout of the game.Badlion will never = Reddit. It's pretty easy to point out 20+ reasons and differences, but I don't really have the time or patience.

You're acting like reddit is the only communtity with shooting health. Literally any game on Twitter that I play, they have shooting health, and there is a reason for that. The majority of the people enjoy the feature, so you can't base the majority of your argument over something that you don't like, but the rest of the community does. Badlion really isn't that similar to reddit. They don't have a kill counter displayed, and many other things. My favorite badlion gamemode is cutclean, which was made by a redditor who enjoys playing on badlion. Bad lion doesn't even have the most overplayed gamemode: barebones.
