As of lately while running 1.7 minecraft I have been getting horrible shaky graphics and unplayable FPS, and I will probably quit minecraft pvp soon if I cannot get stable frames. Can somebody please tell me how to fix this because before I was getting 50/60 on 1.7. 1.8 gives me decent FPS but in 1.8 it is much harder to get a combo compared to in 1.7.Posted on 24 May 2015 - 09:50 PM
Get 1.7Get optifine
Go to video option-other-fullscreen mode and set it to something along 1280x720. If you really want an FPS boost, set it to 800x600 or 640x480 (The lower, the more fps you will get but you will loose video quality.
This should give you a huge fps boost.

i play on 1.8 with optifine and get 45-60 fps, with 1.7 i get like 25-35. Combos aren't too hard to master in 1.8, its basically just a block in between every 2-3 normal hits. The only downside is you can't just spam block hits for mad combos like 1.7 players do.
