@frogmike Thank you so much for the detailed answers! and also what sparked my curiosity was that I have recently found an intrest in trying to learn about the styles of top rank vanilla players from previous seasons!Posted on 27 May 2015 - 08:15 PM

Well, I doubt you would need that. As we both know, you make use of the latency advantages.
It's unfortunate those exist, though.

Thnk, I'm not talking about ping.I'm talking about popular techniques people use to gain a reach hold over somebody.

Yeah, but that can vary depending on your ping.Posted on 29 May 2015 - 05:31 PM
I suck at kohi/nodebuff but I am amazing at vanilla, its probably because I'm pro at quickdropping, beat Jewce 3 times with less pots than him, beat some other good people when they were winning.Posted on 29 May 2015 - 08:01 PM

@frogmike PvP has indeed changed a lot! Yes I do use things like the W tap technique, and I would 100% say it is the foundation of my PvP style and insane reach and combos, I feel it also helps makes my strafes a bit wider too. My W tap technique is a bit different than most player's, since the majority of players rapidly tap or spam their w, I feel I have near perfected timing it just right with each tap, I don't remember this technique being too popular until around Season 5. It was mostly used by the soup community when 1.7 first came out, it's origin going way back to Gayzmcgee, which as far as my little research shows, was the creator of the general idea. Nvoo was the player that thought me the style of W tap that I now use.If you don't mind I would like to ask another question about your reign as number 1 in vanilla back in season 2 that I don't think I might have asked as specifically in my first post with questions, how often did you blockhit? And did you crit a lot?

If you're losing overall, try to play aggressively and get a surprise win Great advice.Posted on 29 May 2015 - 11:32 PM
