New event and fix to mineage ladder

I've been on mineage for two years now and I feel the ladder doesn't accurately represent pvp. I suggest these changes be made.It is rare to people with bows, but when they do they are kit bows without any form of punch
The use of knock back is non existent
People bring no more than 2-3 god apples to pvp, I suggest a max limit
Most people bring 2 sets of armor
The only debuff people bring is poison extended
I think these changes would help balance the mineage ladder and hopefully make it more enjoyable while shortening the length of matches
New event: king of the hill/KOTH
This gamemode would be kit based and would require a custom map with a king of the hill cap area similar to those seen on hcf
The game would last 15 minutes, or close to the length of a slaughter FFA
Everyone would be invisible
You get as many lives as you want
The person to stand on the KOTH the longest wins the KOTH
This could either be total time on the KOTH or most time spent in 1 life.
Possibly a top five player score HUD similar to that of the party HUD showing top 5 times

Meh if KOTH would be a thing you should be able to make your own team so you could do it with your friends. Then you would have to be able to see their names, but the enemys will be invis!Posted on 24 April 2014 - 03:15 PM

Koth would likely work by a scoring system which would be X amount of points to Y amount of seconds. With this, there would be some sort of maximum points and the player who reaches it first would win.Keep in mind, this is only my idea as to how it would work, and is not official.
