Hey everyone. Today I am here to talk about the Badlion UHC draft that will be occurring soon.
I really wanted to rehype up Badlion UHC for summer and thanks to xhockey he came up with the idea for a UHC draft game! For those who don’t live in the greatest country in the world a draft is where captains of teams will have the opportunity to choose a roster from a batch of players wanting to play in the uhc game.
Who will captain the teams?
You can apply here for captain. Myself and the senior hosts will be deciding the thirty five individuals who will be leaders of their teams. The application will require your skype, and there’ll be a skype group between all the leaders to plan this out more efficiently.
How do I sign up?
Simply reply to the post this survey here. After all 315 players have registered the signup will cut off. We apologize for not being able to add more players, but for efficiency's sake it’s important to keep it small.
How will teams be decided/created?
There will be a draft that will be streamed where leaders will say who they want. There’ll be the list of the 335 players, where they (after about an hour) should have a team of ten players they are satisfied with. The draft pick for the leaders will be randomly picked.
What happens if someone can’t make the game?
The game will be streamed and on a first come first serve basis, the teams that are missing players will get some influx of players from these streams to fill each team of 10. In the case a captain can’t make the game, they will select someone from their selected team to be captain, and a new player will be added to the team.
What will the gamemode be?
This will be a teams of 10 game, with 35 fully filled teams. The nether will be disabled, and golden head stacking will be disabled. The rest of the configuration is default from badlion with the initial 10 steak at start, and the heal at 10 minutes.
When and where?
The draft will be on June 5th at 4 pm EST, and the game will be on the following day June 6th at 3 pm EST on Na 1 Badlion UHC. All the players will be manually whitelisted, and each captain will be responsible for inviting all the players in their team.
Admin interference
Friendly fire will still be on. If anyone is abusing the Badlion rules during this game, for cheating (ipvp, stripmining, etc.) will result in a one month ban, and if they cheat (x-ray, hack, etc.) it’ll result in a minimum three month ban. If someone chooses to captain and purposefully sabotages their game they will be blanket banned and it’ll be unappealable.
Prizes!
What is a badlion event with prizes!? The leader will receive permanent Lion rank (or the opportunity to give it away if they already have it), and the players will all receive 1 month donator rank (or the opportunity to give it away if they already have it).

We will be using ts.badlion.net for the game. Every team will have a room, and captain will be channel admin. Teamspeak will be required.

Is this going to be US hosted?So as captains we know who to pick;
will there be a points system and a game on each NA & EU to make it fair or just one game only? (
Or will temporary proxies be given out / use of VPN's allowed for a game? (assume not)
Ping is a big deal to a lot of players in UHC so it'll be hard to balance out imo unless there is a game on US & EU where you have the same team for both.

Maybe an admin shuld make a post in /r/CompetitiveMinecraft .I think this is a really cool idea, even though I am not interested enough in UHC to participe here.

Maybe push the draft back a bit, to like 3:30 PM maybe? Because some people still have school, and most school days don't finish until around 3 PM, so some people won't be able to make it right away, I think this is an awesome idea though.Posted on 26 May 2015 - 08:45 PM

Eu or riot.Nah but honestly, ping is a MAJOR things when it comes to bow lag, melee and such.
It won't be fair in any way if player x got advantage on player y due to the fact that player x is na and player y is eu.
