I want to know if you guys want me to actually try for elo (I usually play for fun).

If you want to go through the toxicity of elo and crap like that, go ahead.Playing for fun is more fun obviously, so if you really want to have fun, don't play for elo.

I would say actually try but do not care about ELO too much because if you don't try, it won't be fun.
If you don't want to play for ELO, play unranked or just not care if you lose.
I'm not that good at giving advice xD.
