I've just started running minecraft on a RAMDrive to supposedly increase FPS. However, I've encountered a problem. For some reason every time I log on to Minecraft supposedly more files are being created because the available space on my harddisk ramdrive thing is getting smaller and smaller. I was hoping someone could explain to me what the problem is and how to fix it!Pce :^)

RAMDisk won't really do much. It's a lot slower than actual RAM, and minecraft 1.7.X doesn't need a huge amount of RAM. I live on 512mb/16GB without any issues.

@Listen so you're saying I should just get rid of ramdisk?

Pretty much, I don't think it adds anything, certainly nothing to mc.Posted on 08 June 2015 - 04:36 PM
