Hey!I was a regular of Ranked SG when it was up, I was around 1950ish elo, and about 3rd on the leaderboards. Happy with the way I was playing in unranked, I would join ranked. I would sit in the lobby and wait as people joined, and games started. The server would tell me the message saying something like, "Found you a ranked SG game, teleporting to ranked server in 10 sec." (or whatever it says in green) So I would wait to get teleported, only sometimes I never would. Everybody else would get moved, but I would be stuck in the original lobby. This was alright, until I realized that those games actually counted the same as if I got killed right off spawn. Basically, the server was counting games against me that I hadn't even played. My elo plummeted from almost 2000, to around 1700. From top 10, to just barely top 100.
I don't know what exactly causes this, but it happened to me on more than one occasion, it really pissed me off so I made a thread on the bug, with screenshots. Sadly, it got no attention at all. I'm not mad at the staff or anything, I understand mistakes happen with new servers. I just wanted to make sure this got addressed so that nobody else will have to suffer losing to the same bug once Ranked is back up.

Yeah, I remember when you were at first page and you were always on top of me no matter what and then I came on the next day to see the leaderboard and I don't see you anymore. Anyone notice a pattern on how to reproduce this bug? Is it random? Were you the first person to join? Would you join right before everyone got teleported? Were there more than 12 people on the ranked lobby? were there more than 24 people on the ranked lobby? Any and all information possible will be helpful for me trying to debug this.I was never able to figure it out. I did figure out another long time bug though where sometimes your rating wouldn't properly update/save in a match.

When it would happen to me, I would join, but not usually the first one. Once everybody got moved and I stayed, I was then the first person in line for the next game, but it would still happen again, so I think that eliminates the first one to join theory.
I don't know how the system works, but the only thing I really can offer is that there were no other really frequent or high ELO players when it would happen. Also, you can check out the screenshots on my post that Listen linked. Maybe it could help?

Did it send you a message saying that you were going to be transferred and that it had found u a match?
EDIT: Ok now I see the screenshots. What originally happened though? You joined later (not first to join). it said you got into a match, and then every1 left into the match and u didnt?
Also when you were in that screenshot did you keep losing elo (matches)? Like you lost several matches or just one?
EDIT 2: I should have just read your original post lol. I see now that you lost multiple matches. I found a small bug in my ranked system but I don't think it was the one you were describing. Do you know how many people got shoved into that original match?

It was awhile ago, I don't think it was a full game, because after people would get teleported, I would press tab and see that I was the only one left. If it was a full game, there would probably be more people still in the lobby besides me.Posted on 09 June 2015 - 04:52 PM

I did fix a bunch of other bugs this morning with the matchmaker, but I still don't feel like the one you are describing I have addressed yet…

This will help me to identify whether it was a bungee bug or not. Archy nor I could find any issues with the matchmaking logic at this point that would be causing this issue.

@MasterGberryYes I saw the Green message saying that it found a server then after that I saw the blue message saying looking for a server
I didnt see the yellow Connecting… message either so thats what makes me think its a bungee related issue.
