We are launching ranked Badlion SG season 1 tomorrow morning (American Morning). Some key features/differences from Unranked and from the Beta Season are listed below. Key Features:
1. Auto matchmaker. You will join a lobby and when there is enough people it will automatically put you on a server. Once it assigns you a match, if you leave it will count as a loss. (Min players 12, Max is 24 - just like unranked servers)
2. Auto map picker. It will randomly pick any map we have on Badlion. You need to know the routes on lesser played maps if you wish to succeed.
3. Unlimited Ranked for all players regardless of donation status. Donators have no advantages over non-donators in any way, shape, or form.
4. Stat pages on your profile page
5. Match histories (these are active on UHC too, just not publicly available yet)
New/Changed Features:
1. Teaming is ILLEGAL in Ranked SG. Doing so will result in a 7 day network ban and having your ELO reset to 1400. Continual breaking of this rule will result in longer and possibly permanent bans from Badlion as constantly undermining the competitive integrity of badlion is JUST AS BAD as hacking.
2. All players can spectate after dying in game. While this will allow ghosting to happen rarely (and if you are caught doing so with evidence you will be 30 day banned) we believe that con is outweighed by the fact that you can record cheaters and teamers to report them, which will increase the competitiveness.
3. We are way more strict on punishing people who attempt to camp out early and clean up an easy and undeserved win in deathmatch. If you are constantly doing so, you will realize you will gain minuscule ELO and lose massive amounts in a loss.
4. There are EU and NA ranked servers now, instead of just NA.
Also, this ranked season is very important for competitive clans. The top 5 ratings in your clan will be averaged and used as seeding and/or even getting into the tournament for a future tournament coming up within a month (clans are getting a competitive "solo" queue rating).
In related news in development land now that this and UHC3 is done:
SmellyPenguin and MasterGberry are going to be focused on Potion 4.0
Archybot is going to be focused on clan in game integration and tournament website/plugin integration.

I was in leather and searched the map and got chest but crappy ones and survived to deathwatch it was a 1v1v1 everyone else was iron they focused on eachother and I cleaned them up and killed them all. rip 2 that strategyPosted on 10 June 2015 - 06:03 PM

Thanks for making this, so many people got their elos up doing this..
