I like Hivlik's idea mainly because just like on mcsg (i played there and was a top 150 player at one point) people will find a way to find your disguised name and spam "OMG OMG ITS ________!" and then more people will know and target them. Giving them numbers (and a steve skin/having their cape not appear since those can also be used to identify someone) as their name would work best.Posted on 20 June 2015 - 03:00 PM

I dont think top 20 should get anything special. It's sg and it's part of the game to get targeted. The top 20 of every ladder on pot pvp don't get anything so I dont think SG players should get anything really. idk just my thoughtPosted on 21 June 2015 - 12:29 PM

The old server I played on before it merged with mineplex had a similar idea to Hivliks. Except you can only see the players nametag if you are within 7ish blocks.Or simply. Everyone could be disguised as a Steve for 10 seconds…. Would be fair.

I still think the idea of having top 10 from the previous season given /d is a good idea.
