I noticed theres a lot of people encouraging suicide and giving deaths threats yet getting muted for a day to seven daysI know staff members are aloud to choose the length of a punishment but I thought this was "Zero tolerance and you have no chance to appeal"
I just don't think the risk of someone suiciding is worth a week mute

I think it depends on severity, like kys is a week mute, die in a hole/fire or rot in hell is like a perm idk thoI do think it should be longer than a week, saying kys is serious, let alone die in a hole or hang yourself

Not really open for discussion. Most of you are kids, kids say stupid things. It's better to slap on the wrist for something like "kys" vs a permanent punishment for making a mistake. Telling someone to go drink bleach is a different story.Posted on 16 June 2015 - 03:06 PM

The problem is kys can refer to things in game that revolves around killing another person and can be said without thinking. When you get graphic (drink bleach is the most common one) it's very obvious and un-refutable that you mean IRL and that still receives a permaban. Excessive light cases (2) still end up with permamutes or permabans though.It used to be a perma ban for any and all forms of it, but the staff team decided it was too strict in a vote and decided with this rule, that's typically why it's not up for discussion. (I was one who voted for permabans on all offenses)
