So everyone is talking about 1.9 and how all of the new changes like having two hands a using a shield is going to be horrible and that Badlion should stay to 1.9. Though the thing is, Minecraft it self does not have as good of variety of PvP as other games out there. The addition of all of these new features would actually really spice up PvP with some new twists, and I don't think it's time to say that it's going to be a bad update. Even then, Badlion could just make some of the gamemodes split between 1.9 and 1.8 for people that like it. So don't give up yet.Just expressing my opinion.

#damnjeb #wewantnotchand if we update to 1.9 we can't go on 1.7, then it'll be a real hassle

I don't think we should judge the new update since it hasn't came out yet but yeah, Minecraft wasn't made for PvP, it is mainly meant for building.Just give it a chance, they are looking for opinions and they would NEVER update the game without opinions.

Our plans atm are to support 1.7/1.8 like we currently do and support 1.9 separately on other servers.1.7 server = current
1.9 server = future
client 1.7 connects to 1.7 server
client 1.8 connects to 1.7 server
client 1.9 connects to 1.9 server
client 1.7 cannot connect to 1.9 server
client 1.8 cannot connect to 1.9 server
client 1.9 cannot connect to 1.7 server

Or maybe 1.9update but you can get rid of items for example in 1.8 people don't get the new blocks.
