So I've been enjoying Ranked SG on badlion and I've been liking the elo instead of what MCSG does. but one suggestion I have is that you should get more elo from how late in the game you kill the person instead of just killing the person and getting the elo, because a 5 year old could kill RetroHacks if he got a stone sword of spawn and retro didn't. but it takes skill to kill the top people later in the game when they have good armor and weapons aswell. This would also discourage targeting, and I know targeting is one of the main issues in ranked sg.Thanks :)

hmm, not a bad idea, as long as you still don't lose much elo from dm. Another solution is a grace period for elo. So for the first 10-20 secpnds, anyone who gets killed won't lose any elo. When I have suggested this in the past, people just say "it's part of the game." Which it is, but it won't affect the game if the spawn killer still gets the drops from players.Posted on 18 June 2015 - 03:27 PM
If you make it to dm you shouldn't lose any elo if you die. You should also only get elo from winning/before dm kills. but if you get to dm without any kills and win you should still get elo, but the plugin that is used now gives you no elo if you go to dm without any kills even if you win.Posted on 18 June 2015 - 03:32 PM
If he risks going to the cornucopia he risks not getting a weapon and being killed. It's part of the gamePosted on 18 June 2015 - 04:28 PM

A grace period would be great.

What if players are disguised for 1 minute / 30 seconds so people can't recognise them at the start and target them to get their ELO?Posted on 18 June 2015 - 04:50 PM
