At first I didn't really think no speed or ender pearls was that crucial for Archer. But then I fought people who would crouch behind 3x3 pillars waiting for you to run by the corner to shoot you and then hide behind the next corner. In the previous season you could easily combat this by ender pearling or wall shooting but since there aren't ender pearls anymore there is nothing you can do beside throw yourself to get shot or wait them out for an eternity. I'm fine with speed being gone but at least have a couple ender pearls.Posted on 20 June 2015 - 08:38 PM

The speed added something unique and fun to archer; strafing had a lot more options with it, and there were ways to make really good comebacks (along with pearls). I don't agree with adding back pearls — there were so many people who'd just pearl and have a ping contest with you. Yeah, they added a new level of strategy and all, but I think they did more harm than good.now having said that, i haven't even played the new archer yet
