Capture the Flag UHC
Four teams, each team is scattered within their own quadrant of the map (I.e. Red is scattered within the +,+ quadrant, blue is scattered within the -,- quadrant, etc) Flags aren't touchable if pvp isn't on. From there, a few different things could work:

1) Each team has a flag in the middle (or the corner idk) of their own quadrant. When a team's flag is captured and taken to another team's base, that team now engulfs the entirety of the team they captured. (Red captures blue flag and secured for ten minutes, all blue players become red.) The game ends when only one team remains.

2) There is one flag in the middle of the map, and a team wins either when they capture + control the flag for 30 minutes or when they are the only team remaining.

3) (can be normal team sizes) On death, a player drops a flag. That flag can be taken to the middle in exchange for very cool items. Normal goal - last player/team standing wins

It seems a lot better than CTF! I think each team can have around 10-15 players and the kit can be: Full Leather Prot 1, Stone Sword, Infinity 1 bow. That would be pretty fun

Correct me if I'm wrong but this was a uhc suggestion so there wouldn't be kits? Unless you're saying that's what they start out with then they can mine for better gear/healing.
