The BuildUHC was a fantastic idea for a new kit, bringing an entirely new level to ArenaPvP as well as UHCs as players advance their tactics and strategies.Alongside that, as usual, came people who like to cheat (not hack, more abuse) the ladder's secondaries to the point where it's no longer PvP.
For this reason, I came up with a list (very small, my imagination isn't broad) of possible nerfs and I'm hoping the community might agree?
↮ Replace lava buckets with flint and steel.
Reasoning: Lava buckets are vital for many people playing BuildUHC because it gets their opponent in a trapped position, and they don't need to do anything (not really PvP), as well as the large mass of the server complaining of lag (Badlion is perfectly fine), which friends and I have found to be caused by all the lava in the maps. I can notice slight lagspikes too, but it's more severe for others.
↮Remove wooden planks & diamond axe.
Reasoning: Both of these items are reasonably useless in a UHC, and the kit is BuildUHC. I understand that wooden planks can easily be used in a UHC, but there's cobblestone in the ladder too. And nobody sane will craft a diamond axe in a UHC preparing for someone to hide using planks.

THANK YOU BADLION FOR CREATING MANY INVIGORATING AND ENJOYABLE LADDERS. I AM IN NO WAY MEANING TO DISRESPECT BADLION LADDERS OR THE PEOPLE WHO CREATED THE LADDERS. THESE ARE PURELY MY SUGGESTIONS TO MAKE IT BETTER FOR PLAYERS WHO FEEL THE SAME.

The point of the kit is to recreate the Badlion UHC meetups. During meetups in our heavily played UHCs, people use lava and crafting tables (hence the planks). If we removed the lava/planks it would remove the realistic aspects.Posted on 24 June 2015 - 06:06 PM

Making someone burn with lava is a strategy it takes time and a bit more accuracyAlso dodging lava can make strategy which in my opinion makes the game fun :)

I don't like the idea of replacing lava buckets with FnS because then it turns into MCSG with diamond armour ;-;Well kind of.

Lava is a very good strategy, only thing i hate about it is that because of it my fps is spiking
