I was wondering do Moderators get affected by NCP? I get 40 ping, and I've beaten people with 10ms. But when I fight mods they get every hit that they land.. I ran for like 5 minutes in a 1v1 with @Afilliated and even when I ran, he would be getting hits and regular player wouldn't. (Sorry Minecraftdude! xD <3)Posted on 08 May 2014 - 09:18 PM
As a EU mod with a horrible internet and ping to the server, yes we get affected by NCP, just like everyone else.Posted on 08 May 2014 - 09:22 PM
Also don't get the impression that mods are invincible, if you think one is doing something illegal take screen shots/videos and upload to the forums. Reports against mods are taken very seriously.Posted on 08 May 2014 - 09:24 PM

Yeah I was gonna say this, but contacting one ingame isn't always the easiest thing. So I just had a good idea, reminding Gberry about the forum private message system on his long ass to-do list. @MasterGberry hey, pm system!
EDIT:
I should probably say that a bit more professional so I don't piss him off lol.
MasterGBerry, remember that long list of things you have been wanting to do? Is there any chance the private messaging thing for the forums could go up a bit in priority?

Not reporting anyone, just a question, because every mod I've fought seems to land really good hits.Posted on 09 May 2014 - 02:53 AM

If I may attempt to explain this phenomenon…
1. When looking to hire staff members, Badlion searches for players that post accurate hack reports.
2. People who post accurate hack reports know what hacks look like because they are experienced PVPers.
3. Experienced PVPers are good at PVP.
4. Therefore, when looking to hire staff members, Badlion frequently ends up hiring players that are good at PVP.
