Today I was playing on the server and wasn't really active in chat. Lag was pretty frequent with SOME people saying "lag" but that's just normal for any server and it wasn't spam at all. Then I noticed Cavasi, a Moderator, who was muting a lot of people who said "Lag," "Laglion," or anything to do with lag. I pointed out to him that muting is harsh for this and that not many people knew why they were getting muted for saying this once and stating their opinion and that a warning could be included before the mute. I also stated that saying lag is a fact and restating Badlion as Laglion is a joke but not to be offended by. He replied that people saying lag in chat doesn't help the server and that if people say it they would be muted. Suddenly after I was muted for 2 days with several people messaging me I should make this post and that they agreed with me. Tbh, I get why he muted me for saying what I thought and I respect that, but a 2 day mute for this seems a little harsh. I don't want to argue with the staff, Cavasi, or receive one of MasterGBerry's 15 paragraph answers. I am just simply saying what happened and asking why it should be 2 days. If it stays I would be disappointed, but several people suggested I should make this post.Thank you for reading.

Yes saying lag is stating what is happening but why do you have to say it ,This spams chat and most of the other 15-20 people don't understand that devs are working on this problemBut still why do you have to say lag in chat can't you just not touch the keyboard.
All you do is make the mods jobs harder which is quite sad if you have not realized yet

Since you posted this in a general section of the forums, I'll shine my opinion a bit on it. I disagree with muting for 'lag'. People do not have intentions to spam, no, they are simply laggy. Laglion on the other hand has become a terribly annoying joke that does nothing but piss everyone off. I mute for this too.Regarding your mute, you make it seems like you suddenly got muted for no reason for two days. What did you say though?

honestly I don't see why lag even has to be mentioned in chat because that's all I see nowit's not like people don't know about it so why does it have to be spammed?

I think that Badlion should enforce a rule instead of following different directions from different staff. I don't see the logic in one staff member muting for saying "Lag" and another not. Think you should work on enforcing a rule and have a discussion between staff members for final verdict about the rule. Because with this, you can say "lag" many times when one staff member is online and not get muted for a while or say "lag" and get instantly muted by a staff member who is annoyed with it. No matter what happens, unless there is a filter which will obviously get bypassed, people will spam lag. Thats just how the community is, or harsher punishments could be put in place for saying 'lag'.Posted on 26 June 2015 - 01:00 PM

I got muted yesterday and i am still muted today. I'm kind of disappointed because I am donator and i bought it permanently so i am kind of sad.
