I think it would be way cool if you had the option of choosing the arena you dueled someone in. I don't know if its possible, but it would be way cool to be able to practice on specific maps.

You should be able to adapt to different enviroments/terrains when PVPing, if you just stick to one style, you won't be able to be well-rounded enough to adapt to any situation, different styles of maps definitely help PVPers adapt to different things.

Good PVPers aren't just good at one thing, they are the most well rounded ones.

This is a duel, where you can choose and optimize nearly everything. You always are only fighting with one predetermined kit. If you are practicing, sure that makes sense, but in this situation it doesn't. I find myself repeatedly /spawning out of duels in order to get a good arena; many others do the same. Allowing us to choose the arena would prevent this waste of time, and overall it would be more convenient.

No it wouldn't, not anymore than it already does. If somebody was randomly assigned an arena, they would take up that one arena. If somebody chose an arena, they would take up that one arena. If we were allowed to choose arenas, there would be no difference in the available arenas.


And before you make a typical internet defensive response, acknowledge the points I made.

As true as that is, it is already happening without it. Like I said earlier, people tend to just /spawn or kill themselves until they get the arena they want, resulting in everybody's favorite arenas always being full :/
