So the last 2 days I've been killed by 2 different guys, who somehow knew exactly where I was when crouched underground (one digging up, one in a cave). So I decided to check their stats and I like to think of myself as a reasonable caver, I pretty much always get enchants and at least one piece of diamond armour within 45 minutes. But after checking both guys stats, one of them averages 17 diamonds a game the other 19 diamonds a game… now even with the luck of Mentally, he only ever manages to get on average 11 a game (and never gets cave killed due to his famous rank).

A few of the top guys (no names) are averaging like 24-25 diamonds a game from caving (this is assuming they haven't been cave killed in a few games)… I mean consistently getting nearly 3/4 diamond and enchants every game for 50-60 games is surely near impossible. I've had 3/4 diamond maybe 10 times in 60+ games from well into an hour of caving in each.

My suggestion is to maybe use the average of diamonds per game to narrow down who you need to keep an eye on in games. I think it's a very good way to tell if someone is legit or not and I'd be pretty confident in saying quite a lot of the guys with 20+ diamonds mined on average a game (with like 20+ games played) are xrayers. Of course this is just a suggestion and I'm sure that it's been thought of before but didn't think there would be any harm in posting it.

Just because get a lot of diamonds in games doesn't mean they xray :/

Never said it did.

I'm not saying this is a means of banning someone, I'm saying this could be used as a means of narrowing the list of endless players to watch. A player who is consistently mining 20+ diamonds a game is a lot more likely to be xraying than a guy who's mining on average 9 diamonds a game. Obviously this isn't foolproof, and obviously you'd still need sufficient evidence to prove someone is xraying. Two "top" players recently just both got banned for xray, and both had an average of over 24 diamonds mined a game. There is a correlation, but obviously there is going to be anomalies. I just personally think it's a good thing for moderators to keep an eye on. If some player for 50 games is averaging 4 diamonds a game, and suddenly for the next 20 games he averages 18 diamonds a game, surely that should set off alarm bells.

This will make the mods job harder maybe they are good at uhc dont assume they hack right away

Sorry buddy, but whether you like it or not some people just rush caves, use strategies and all in all just get luckier than you, I'm already zooming around looking for cheaters and using stats would make our job harder, but I can see where you come from.
