Don't punish for everything
I've seen a lot of punishments dealt, over things that no one is affected. You ban hackers because they ruin gameplay or cause problems. But there's no problem in jokingly making ddos / dox threats or calling someone ez, yet people get punished for it.

I've been muted for calling my friend eZ, and I find this unnecessary. Think, was anyone affected by this? The answer would probably be no, as your friend probably doesn't give a fuck and treats it as a joke. Another example would be when someone types in the chat "(friend) imma ddos ur toaster!". That player gets instantly banned. Like, seriously, no one was even threatened, it was completely harmless. And furthermore, it was a threat to ddos his toaster, why would anyone care about it?

Mods have to stop following the rules so directly. Of course, hackers affect the game, and should be banned as soon as possible. But, they should loosen up when players post things that bypass the chat rules. It was probably a joke, and no one is getting ddos/dox'd in the end.

Note : If the player is indeed threatened, yes, they should be punished.

The Ez thing was dicussed here:

Basically it shows poor sportsmanship and if it was allowed you would see nothing else in chat. Keep in mind a lot of players come here to practice pvp and they know they're not good, but constantly getting called ez would definitely discourage them from practicing more. There's nothing wrong with saying GG or GF instead.

As for the DDOS thing I 100% stand for that rule, whether it's a joke or not ddos threats should be taken very seriously. If someone is willing to ddos you because they lose a match, then you don't need that type of player on the server. Yeah banning people for joking about ddos may seem a little harsh, but it sets an example that we have a 0 tolerance policy.

Well said,

Plus, joking about DDoSing and Doxing is only a month ban.

I won't mute for 'eZ' if it's something like 'im ez'. I know other mods do mute people when they use the word like that, but they need to remember that we mute people for this because of the way it is used (e.g. ur ez, lol gf ez…)
