Hey everyone. Today I am happy to announce some changes to Badlion UHC that are being included in the Badlion UHC 3.1 patch. This patch is some bug fixes and some small tweaks.New Generation
We have a custom world generation system currently in place on Badlion UHC 3.0. There are some issues with it as follows:
- Too much gravel on the top of caves.
- Sugar cane only spawns 1 or 2 blocks high at a time
- Way too many swamps
- Way too many mine shafts
- Way too many diamonds
We have a new generator that is in development still. We have been having some issues with it randomly crashing, so it is not live yet. It will be pushed live at a later date. We are bringing back missing biomes as well such as
- Mesas
- Savanas
- Sunflower Plains
- Roofed Forests
- And More
To be clear it was never our intention to remove these biomes. The only biomes we wanted to remove were Jungles and Oceans. These biomes got removed on accident with the plugin we were using for map generation. We are now making our own to correct the problems.
Patch Notes for Badlion UHC 3.1
- New 50x50 and 25x25 border shrinks 15 minutes and 20 minutes after the 100x100 shrink
- Horseless game mode is available
- Ender Dragon Rush game mode is available
- Horse Regeneration can now be turned on or off via config
- Strength 1 is now off by default in games
- Fixed issue where spectators could not watch people in the nether all the time
- Fixed stat tracking for animals/mobs
- Fixed Diamondless to not allow blast mining
- Fixed Ore Frenzy XP from mining blocks
- Stop combat tags from being able to pick up items
- Fixed bug with starter food not being given when you relog during countdown
- Some back-end changes for hosts/senior hosts
- Spoiling is now a one day ban.
Please report any bugs below. I will edit this post when the 3.1 generator is live.

In UHC's you dont pick out what biomes you want and dont want, its Ultra HARD Core not Ultra Easy Core

I think there's too many diamonds due to too many mineshafts = too many y11 mineshafts = people find ez diamonds.
also why is it off by default? why not on?

Preach! Could you put mineshafts and diamonds to use vanilla generation? Every bigger cave you enter, there's usually a mineshaft connected to it, same with diamonds… :P

I actually liked the amount of diamonds, mineshafts and swamps, but oh wellPosted on 12 July 2015 - 09:00 PM
I liked the op stuff because if everyone was full diamond the fights would require skill. Oh well, here comes lucky or xraying full diamonds versus full irons. Not going to be very fair anymore ;/
