SpoilingIt's one of the biggest issues on badlion. People seem to love doing it, and it's extremely frustrating. I am a strong believer that if you are dead in game, you should have zero influence over the game. Of course, ghosting and other things are current near impossible to moderate, and we hope to one day find a way to fix that. However spoiling has been getting out of hand. People will die, leave the game and spoil, knowing that in an hour they'll already be unmuted and redo it. Myself and the rest of the uhc staff team have had it with this constant headache, and because of that spoiling will now result in a one day ban. This was first tested in my 9:30 game, where I said various times in the rules (plus various warnings) that spoiling post death would result in a one day ban.
Feel free to ask any questions or concerns below and I'll try to answer truthfully.

I say "gg", tell everyone left in the game good luck, especially my killer. And, before i go into spec chat, I thank the host for hosting so I don't have to do it later. I don't like that idea, and also, it should just stay 30 seconds or whatever before spec chat because donator and below get 30 seconds before they get sent to hub, they don't get sent to hub right away.

I'll probably become unlazy and make it so whenever says something besides "gg" it just cancels their chat lolPosted on 13 July 2015 - 06:31 AM

"gg" "thanks for host" "ty for host" "gl" "have fun everyone" "good fight" "gf"although it'll be impossible to put every combination of things, those are just my ideas for a start of it

What about "thanks for hosting"

Yeah but then moderators have to be extremely careful when reading what a person said because it happened to me, on my alt, that I killed someone and I spoiled what they have had and it got me falsely muted (staff unmuted me then)… My point is, if a moderator understands a thing not clearly enough and think it's spoiling, it might end the game badly for the player who has been "spoilling".Posted on 14 July 2015 - 12:37 PM

I personally have always double-checked that the person spoiling has indeed died before his spoils and that he isn't in spectator chat yet. Now that the rule has changed, I will punish with even more caution and I believe other hosts will as well.
