UHC King of the Hill Gamemode

I think a good idea for a new unique UHC gamemode would be a king of the hill gamemode.KOTH (King of the Hill) is where you have to capture a point for a certain amount of time by standing on the capping zone without being knocked off (as seen on Badlion HCF, Kohi Cubecore, and many other places). For the UHC gamemode there would be a few minor KOTHs around the map (like 2 or 3) where you have to cap them for 3 minutes, thus getting you unique loot, and a capping zone in the center that you have to cap for 5 or more minutes (maybe even 10) that will win you the game if you successfully cap. This gamemode would be harder on FFA but still possible to do but the real gem to this gamemode would be the Team games. The bigger the team the more strategic you can be when playing KOTHs. Because only 1 person would have to cap from a team the rest could work to protect and fend off the capper.

I think having multiple KOTHs around the map would be too chaotic. Especially since you'd have to give off notifications for all of them somehow. I do, however, like the idea of having a KOTH at 0,0 which you have to capture to win the UHC. You could risk trying to get a quick cap, but that might get you killed or you could gear up first, which would be the safe play.Posted on 14 July 2015 - 04:22 AM
This seems like a cool idea, maybe add it as some sort of an event. Also a progression system would be nice, where if you get a number of consecutive kills you get a better sword/armor piece/healing item. But uhh #BADLIONstaffREPRESENT
