As much as I'd like to see a ladder with a fishing rod that doesn't focus so heavily on having so many secondaries, (like fire, lava, water, bows, gapples, food…) the diamond ladder isn't about that and with good reason. The diamond ladder is about the pure melee focus, and those skilled enough may always choose to get the "fishing rod" effect with a bow instead.As of right now, it's the only real melee focused ladder I can think of that doesn't involve speed pots or fishing rods/fire. I don't think that should be taken away from those who truly enjoy that, and it really deserves to be there. How else are people going to practice pure no speed pots melee fighting if they so desire?

Well diamond is hugely ms based, as bows do next to no damage all you really have is a sword, which is an unlikely pvp situation. I quit the ladder because all people do is spam blockhit and crit, its really annoying and you have to have pretty decent ms to get high up in it, because except from the bow, there is no way to get an advantage, but using a rod would be pretty good.Posted on 27 July 2015 - 04:38 AM
I'm so used to rod I click the steak on my 3rd slot sometimes, thinking there's a rod there :P
