Hey Guys!I'm coming at you today with yet another straw poll on whether or not you wish that the Swamp map should be removed from both the ranked and unranked games.
Why? Well, not only in my opinion is the map super irritating but I have heard from multiple other players in the community who agree that the map should either be adjusted or removed. One of the reasons we want it changed is because its more of a melee based map, which we don't have a problem with but when you go in for melee, you are caught in one of these vines which allows the opponent to win the fight which really annoys players as it becomes more of a luck situation instead of who the better player really is. Not only do players get caught in these vines, the vines also get in the way of the players not allowing the hits to register.
What do you guys think?

I would personally love to see is map removed. It's awful for pvp, I'd state all the negatives of the map but you did a pretty good job of that.Posted on 24 July 2015 - 12:54 AM

All these people saying that they can't cope with the vines, they also don't seem to be trying to adjust to it.This vine map is very different from others, but that makes it so that the PvPer can learn to adjust to things like these, if you really hate it this much, don't play, otherwise, learn how to work around the problems.

75% Chance this map will be removed, it is horrible and if potion pvpers are expected to play on whatever it is meant to be, they will be kicking themselves. The vines get in the way of hits, you cant strafe because the largest clearing is about 6 blocks wide and you end up missing your pots because you end up scaling the vines. At the very least remove the vines.
