Factions ./home command

The /home command doesn't seem to be working properly for a few people.I tried to use home & suffocated in blocks which is very annoying considering I lost everything.
Burnt_Cactus cannot teleport to his home as it is apparently obstructed.
I set my home on a hill where the gradient varied, so I think its either that or it just puts you in the ground for some reason.
Anyone else has anything to add, please do.
