It's unfair on the legit players to not have the ladder rank they ought to because there are players above them who obtained their elo via illegitimate means. Examples are TargetMePlease, Dimitrije, tbhp0rse and wombod on the MCSG ladder (wombod is unbanned but he got his elo while hacking so doesn't deserve it). Mint_Bad, Charmings and vZenv have also cheated for their elo.Posted on 25 July 2015 - 05:21 PM
Yeah especially Dashez elo, since he is #1 Global but he got banned for hacking xD+1

what if they prove that they wasn't cheating and they didn't used anything that not allowed.basiclly what if they are a legit player that worked on he's elo so much, and got banned for a unvalid reason?

@ofir if that's the case then don't wipe the elo. if their dispute is denied, or if they admit to hacking and have their ban reduced their elo should be reset, as well as if they don't appeal after a certain period of time
